Carole Lee Ficklin Cutler passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 25, 2018. Carole was born on July 16, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to Dr. George Ficklin and Arlene Ficklin. Carole grew up in Tremonton, Utah and graduated from Bear River High School in 1960. She attended the University of Utah where she met her future husband. She married Ronald Cutler on March 19, 1965 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. She was employed for many years in the Microbiology Department at LDS hospital as a medical technician.

Carole was a loving wife and mother and dedicated much of her time to her children; supporting them with their school and extracurricular activities throughout the years. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, waterskiing, gardening, sewing, knitting, cooking, square dancing, Utah Symphony concerts, U of U football and basketball games, and reading. She faithfully served in both Primary and Relief Society presidencies and had a strong devotion to the Gospel.

She is survived by her husband Ronald, sons Brian (Trisha), Jeffrey (Suzzanne), and Joseph. Six grandchildren. Four brothers: Larry (Dawn), George (Brenda), Douglas (Wendi), and Kent. Preceded in death by her parents (Dr. George and Arlene Ficklin) and a brother (John Timothy Ficklin).
