I use to run into Jack quite often at Thiokol. He was in the lobby trying to get a job. I encouraged him and told him to keep trying something was bound to open up. I put in a good word or him in a couple of places. Inspite of that, he finally got a job. At last He had a steady better paying job.
I remember him at a class reunion standing up and telling everyone how good life was and how much he was enjoying the reunion. He said once every five-years was not enough; we should have one every year. He was so positive and upbeat. For me it was one of the great moments at that reunion.
The sad part of the tail is, that not long after the reunion both he and his wife were killed up by Sun Valley when their motorcycle hit a bull.
