Joan Lizzie Tolman Fuller passed away June 6,2013 at Benefis Peace Hospice in Great Falls

as a result of multiple myeloma. Funeral services were June 10, at the Fort Benton LDS Chapel.

Burial followed in the family cemetery.

Joan was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hewitt Tolman; mother,

Manda Reader Tolman; and a brother, Ross Tolman. She was born January 3,1942 in

Tremonton, UT. She married Glen Fuller September 19, 1962, in the Logan LDS Temp1e. They

lived in Thatcher, Utah and then moved to Fort Benton in 1966.

Joan is survived by her husband, son, Rueben Wayne Fuller (Suzy) of Three Forks; daughter,

Veronica Lynn Fuller Carlton (Fred) of Kingsville, Missouri; son Dallas Glen Fuller (Anji) of

Fort Worth, Texas; son Russell Dean Fuller (Terri) of Menden, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and

12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Mary Summers. Of Belt, Jerry Tolman

of Brigham city, Utah, Sam Tolman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Faith Limb of Spokane,

Washington, and Floyd Tolman of Quesnel, BC; and many nieces and nephews who loved her.

She was a member of the LDS Church and had a strong testimony that God lives and that Jesus

Christ is the Savior of the world. She worked in the Relief Society, Primary and other auxiliary

organizations of the church, but her primary love was family history. She helped many people

with their family histories. She was a great homemaker and loved to make things, like blankets

for the great-grandchildren and others. She would take plastic grocery sacks and fold and cut

them in on-inch strips and crochet hand bags and give them away. She was a great cook and

enjoyed sharing. By nature, she was very compassionate and loved doing things for others. She

loved animals and they all loved her. When she was young, she loved appending time in the

summer with her Granma Jensen and Grandma Johnson. Grandma Johnson always called her

"My little Lizzie." Joan was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
