Linda Rose Dallon passed from this life as a result of heart failure in Elko, Nevada, Friday, July

115, 2016. She was traveling with Earl and Eric, enroute to the Oregon coast to spend a week

with all her children and grandchildren. Linda was born in Tremonton, Utah on November 16,

1941, the third of six children born to Henry Smith Rose Jr., and Jeanetta McFarland Rose. She

was preceded in death by her parents, her parents in-law; brother Norman; and grand-

daughter Sydney. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Earl; children, Michael

(Debbie), Mark (Brenna), Eric, Daniel (Alison), Chad (Shersten), 16 ½ grandchildren;

sisters, Diane Brewer, Janet Fulmer (Verlan); brothers, Steven (Loyann) and Theron

(Ronda).

Linda’s family had a dairy farm in Tremonton where she lived until attending college.

She graduated from Utah State University and taught 4th grade in Salt Lake and

Bountiful for 8 years. She and Earl were married in the Manti temple April 25th 1970.

After the birth of her first child, she dedicated the remainder of her life to serving her

family and our Savior. Linda survived cancer in 1994 and a serious automobile accident

in 2011. Each of these events impacted her physical ability to do many of the things she

loved, but did not reduce her ability to love unconditionally, extend friendship to many,

support Earl and their children in all their activities, volunteer as an usher for County

Arts, and read. She was genuine, without guile and a true friend to many. She was an

active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many

positions in Primary, Young Women’s, and the Relief Society. Linda loved the Savior

and always looked for ways to serve others.
